本报讯(冉祥瑞 记者 霍萍)青藏高原水域被一些文艺作品称为“地球的眼泪”。“地球眼泪”有多咸?我校参研的智能水下机器人可以解答这个问题了。近日,我校、青海大学、三江源研究院三院组成联合科考队,奔赴青藏高原唐蕃古道要冲,利用智能水下机器人对苦拔海(豆错)、河厉桥(龙羊峡)水质信息探测与采集,对三江源区水道与路网的变迁特征进行研究,这是国内首次利用智能水下机器人对高原地区水域进行水质信息探测与采集,具有开拓性的意义。
被誉为“亚洲水塔”的青藏高原是亚洲多条主要江河的源头区,也是中国水资源管理和水环境保护最严格的区域之一。由于青藏高原的暖湿化,高原湖泊面积增大盐度降低,近年来,国家不断加大对青藏高原水环境保护力度,为分析高原升温对大气环流的影响,推进水生态环境保护与修复,保障青藏高原水生态环境安全,组织了本次试验。
以往采用传统人工方式在青藏高原进行水下分层探测,用船在不同指定位置投放、再回收探测设备定点测量,费时费力,受天气等因素影响大,且只能得到某几个位置点的水质信息。此次采用水下机器人探测,受天气影响小,可以实时采集其航行范围内的水质数据,弥补了人工定点采集数据测量方式的不足,节省人力物力。
本次试验所使用的智能水下机器人是我校水下机器人技术重点实验室孙玉山教授团队与清华大学水沙科学与水利水电工程国家重点实验室李铁键教授团队共同研制的。该智能水下机器人自主化程度高,能够长时间进行水下水文信息详细探测作业。
在孙玉山教授的指导下,团队6名成员在3天内对指定的水域不同深度的水文信息进行了探测,一次性获得了该水域的地形、流速、温度、盐度、浊度、pH值等重要的水文水质信息。本次试验中水下机器人的导航系统经受住了高原湖泊的考验,一小时连续定位误差小于8%,智能水下机器人连续无障碍工作超过20小时。此次高原科考的成功,为高原水质环境探测积累了经验,为水下智能无人设备应用于高原科考领域奠定了基础。
